Losing My Spurs – Anthony Potts – Gazza, The Grief and The Glory

An interesting autobiography from Anthony Potts, a promising young player who was part of the Tottenham Hotspur side which won the 1990 F.A. Youth Cup. As a young player, Potts was good friends with his Spurs teammate, Paul Gascoigne, and recounts many anecdotes from this period. Unfortunately, recurring injuries meant that Potts never made a competitive appearance for Spurs and, after a spell playing in New Zealand, was forced to retire at the age of 23, retraining as a teacher. This edition published in 2025.
