Different Class – The Story of Laurie Cunningham

A biography of the late Laurie Cunningham, a talented winger who became the first black professional footballer to represent England when he appeared for the Under-21s in 1977. After starting his career at Leyton Orient, Cunningham made his name playing for West Bromwich Albion and became the first English player to sign for Real Madrid. He subsequently played for a number of other English, Spanish and French clubs before tragically being killed in a car crash at just 33 years of age. This edition published in 2019.
