On Days Like These – Les Sealey – The Lost Memoir of a Goalkeeper

A fascinating memoir from the late Les Sealey, an eccentric goalkeeper best known for his time at Manchester United, though he played most of his football for Coventry City and Luton Town. Sealey died tragically young, at the age of just 43 following a heart attack, but this book was written using tape recordings which were recently rediscovered. In them, Sealey frankly discusses his career, most notably his time working under Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford where he reveals much of what went on in the changing room. Published in 2023.
