A remarkably detailed and well-illustrated look at the life and career of the late Arthur Rowe, a centre-half who made almost 200 appearances for his boyhood side, Tottenham Hotspur, during the 1930s. Rowe is better known for his work as a manager whose innovative 'push-and-run' style of play saw Spurs win promotion to the First Division in 1949/50 before winning the League title the following season. Rowe was later forced to resign at Spurs due to ill health, but later worked at Crystal Palace as manager and in other coaching roles as his health allowed. Published in 2023.
