A biography of Herbert Chapman, one of English football's most influential figures, from journalist Patrick Barclay. Chapman was a visionary figure who found fame at Huddersfield Town during the 1920s as he managed the club to a remarkable hat-trick of titles. This success earned Chapman the job of manager of Arsenal and his playing style of swift counter-attacking football won the Gunners their first two League titles. Tragically, Chapman then suffered an untimely death from pneumonia at the age of just 55 but his Arsenal team went on to win the League title once again and continued to dominate English football through the 1930s. This edition published in 2015.
