This interesting book follows the story of the friendship between Manchester United and Real Madrid which began as United were defeated in the European Cup in 1957 by reigning Champions, Real. In the years that followed the Munich Air Disaster in 1958, Real did more than any other clubs to help United recover, staging a series of friendly matches and this book follows the friendship through to 1968 when the clubs again met in the European Cup. Published in 2011.
