That dream seemed over when, aged 18, Jimmy was released by Notts County and written off as "too small." Fuelled by this, he battled against rejection and setbacks along the way, to reach the very top of the English game.

A superb shot-stopper, 'Wacka' achieved cult hero status at Walsall, where he became the club's all-time record appearance holder, and West Ham United, who he led back into the Premier League and to an F.A. Cup final and a great escape, before helping Spurs into the Champions League.

It's been an ebullient, eventful rollicking, roller coaster of a career, and in "Size Isn't Everything" Jimmy recalls every twist and turn with characteristic honesty and humour.
