An interesting memoir from Paul Ferris, a talented Northern Irish midfielder who became Newcastle United's youngest ever player when he made his debut for the Magpies in 1981. Due to injury, Ferris made just a handful of appearances in professional football but later returned to the club firstly as a physiotherapist then, after a spell working as a barrister, as part of Alan Shearer's ill-fated management team.
